Rock Island Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services in Rock Island, IL and surrounding communities. Services include spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, basement insulation, wall insulation, vapor barrier installation, air sealing, and insulation removal.
All services are performed by or under the supervision of state-licensed and fully insured contractors. Scope of work for each project is defined in a written estimate or agreement provided before work begins.
Estimates provided by Rock Island Insulation are based on the information available at the time of the site visit. An estimate is not a final contract until both parties have agreed to the written scope of work and pricing in writing.
Prices are subject to change if conditions discovered during the job differ materially from those observed during the estimate - for example, if additional damage, moisture, or hazardous materials are found that were not visible during the initial assessment. We will notify you before proceeding with any work that would increase the agreed price.
Free estimates are provided without obligation. Requesting an estimate does not commit you to hiring us, and it does not commit us to performing the work at any particular price until a written agreement is signed.
Appointments are scheduled by mutual agreement. We ask that you give us at least 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a confirmed appointment. Short-notice cancellations affect our crew scheduling and may delay your project.
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, crew availability, or circumstances outside our control. We will contact you as early as possible if we need to make a change.
If a project is cancelled after materials have been ordered or work has begun, you may be responsible for reasonable costs incurred up to the point of cancellation. This will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
Payment terms are outlined in the written estimate or project agreement for each job. In general, payment is due upon completion of the work unless a different arrangement is agreed to in writing before work begins.
For larger projects, we may require a deposit before scheduling or ordering materials. Any deposit requirement will be stated clearly in your written estimate.
Accounts not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to late fees and may be referred to a collections process.Rock Island Insulation reserves the right to pursue all legal remedies available for unpaid balances.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your property when requesting an estimate. This includes disclosing known conditions such as moisture problems, past flood damage, pest activity, or the presence of hazardous materials like asbestos or lead paint.
You are also responsible for clearing the work area as directed by our crew before the scheduled start date, and for ensuring that occupants and pets are out of the work area during installation, particularly during spray foam applications that require a 24-hour curing period.
Rock Island Insulation warrants that all work will be performed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. Any warranty on materials is provided by the manufacturer of those materials, not by Rock Island Insulation.
We do not warrant that insulation improvements will result in any specific level of energy savings. Actual results depend on many factors outside our control, including the age and condition of your home, your heating and cooling equipment, weather conditions, and your household habits.
If you believe our workmanship is defective, contact us within a reasonable time and we will investigate and address the concern. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to sales@rockislandinsulation.com.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rock Island Insulation shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website, our services, or any materials we provide - including but not limited to loss of income, loss of use of property, or costs of substitute services.
Our total liability for any claim related to a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid for that project.
